Summer Camp 2024
The 2024 Summer Camp will be hosted at Sammamish High School from August 12-15!
The Robototes are proud to announce their 2024 Summer Camp! This camp will teach your students how to think like an engineer. From designing and programming robots to tackling STEM problem solving, your students will learn introductory coding and engineering skills from a robotics team who has competed at World Championships the last 3 years. This is for all elementary school students, grades 2-5, and is free to attend (donations accepted). We ask that students bring lunch, and wear closed toed shoes.
When:
August 12th to 15th from 10:00am to 3:00pm
Where:
Sammamish High School robotics shop and engineering classrooms
What:
Students will be divided into small teams in order to build, program, and compete with Lego Mindstorms robots based on a challenge set by the Robototes. They will also participate in several other STEM-related activities and workshops that will help them complete their task.
Cost:
The suggested donation is $100, but we do not want the cost to prevent anyone from participating. More information will be sent out closer to the camp date, but we will be able to waive the cost if you need it.
If you have any questions, feel free to email us at outreach@robototes.com
